We have an exciting opportunity for an auction porter/saleroom/logistics assistant to be part of our growing auction house based in the North of England.

Duties to include but are not limited to:
Following instructions and guidelines set out by management.
Working within all departments of the auction as and when required.
Integrating with and working alongside existing colleagues on consignment
Responding to email, written and telephone enquiries
Effectively handling the manual side of goods in and goods out, including assisting with loading and unloading.
Sale photography and processing.
Pre- and post-sale administration.
General housekeeping.
Assisting with sale viewing.
Assist in the organisation and maintenance of storage areas.
Ensuring items are stored securely and in accordance with company standards.
Ensuring items are correctly labelled and stored in the correct area/ given to the correct staff.
Update the database with information relating to stock control.

Desired qualifications/experience:
Experience in a similar role would be preferable, or demonstrable transferable skills.
Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
A good level of physical fitness
The ability to work to a routine and structure while maintaining individuality.
Strong customer service skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
