Do you have a passion for auctions and collecting? We have two exciting auctions, Coins and Militaria, that now need the expertise of an experienced valuer/cataloguer or enthusiastic junior.
Interested in joining our growing auction house in the North of England? We’re located just off the M6 motorway at Junction 36, and we’re a thriving team of friendly valuers, auctioneers, saleroom staff, and support staff.
We hold six Collectable Coins and Banknotes auctions and six Militaria and Air Weapons auctions annually using the timed and online format. These auctions have grown in size and quality over the past few years. They now need one or possibly two specialists to take a focused approach, making them a brilliant experience for our local, national, and international buyers.
We can provide plenty of training.

Responsibilities
Following instructions and guidelines set out by the management team
Integrating with and working alongside existing colleagues on consignment
Responding to email, written and telephone enquiries
Departmental development with a primary focus on auction production and growth
Business getting, client relations
Cataloguing following the house style laid down by management
Sale photography and processing
Producing content for our marketing department
Pre and post-sale administration
Carry out on-site and off-site valuations
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrable industry experience
Experience dealing with militaria and numismatics would be to your advantage
A friendly and positive outlook is paramount
A good knowledge of your subject and a willingness to learn and develop
Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
The ability to work to a routine and structure while still maintaining your own individuality
Strong customer service skills
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
