“The auction produced strong prices across the catalogue. The leading lot being a run of 10 Andrew Lang Fairy Books, published by the Folio Society, achieving a hammer price of £1,360.

“Other highlights included a series of lots featuring Science Fiction and literary classics published by The Easton Press and The Franklin Library, with a combined hammer total of over £2,000.

“Following these successes, the focus now turns to the final book sale of the year, scheduled for a start date of 24 October. This sale will feature books from two private collections: Military History and allied subjects and Engineering and Transport History. There will also be Lots featuring Folio Society publications, modern Art History works, and more.”
