Incidental music by BlueJam Arts, local cheese, wine, teas, and coffees, and an auction of promises are set to make an excellent evening at Greystoke Village Hall on Friday 31st March 2023. The Cumbria Singers are selling tickets to this fundraising event for £15 per person. The evening starts between 7.15 pm and 7.30 pm.
1818 Auctioneers’ double act, Simon Thompson and Bill Nelson will be overseeing the bidding on the fantastic selection of promises. All of these have been donated by choir members, their friends, and local companies. Promises include:
- A voucher toward a meal at the award-winning Heather Glen Hotel.
- A meal cooked for up to six diners by a ‘celebrity chef’ in the host’s home.
- A week in a recently refurbished cottage in Donegal, (southern island) for up to 2 people.
- A week in Madeira in a self-catering apartment in a modern hotel complex, with access to hotel services and on-site facilities included. The Savoy Palace Hotel won the ‘Luxury hotel of the year in Portugal 2022’ award.
- 2 free seats to an Eden Valley Music Concert.
- Finding out more about bees: Spending an afternoon with beekeepers and their bees on the Greystoke Castle estate.
