This bottle is numbered 1673/5000 and estimated at £3,000 – £4,000.
History of the Macallan Private Eye whisky
The whisky went on general release in 1996 and retailed for £36 per bottle. Our private vendor secured two bottles – one of which has been enjoyed, and one conserved and now presented for sale by auction.
Each of the 5,000 bottles was individually numbered.
