We’re already looking ahead to 2019 with keen anticipation. Auctioneer Bill Nelson, who catalogues our fountain pen auctions, has just announced that we’ll be offering a rather special collection of fountain pens on the 5th February.
The collection, totalling approximately 60 lots, is mainly made up of Parker Duofold pens and is in very good condition.
Star lots include:
A Limited Edition Parker “Snake” fountain pen with HM silver mounts No618/5000, estimate £400-500
A Parker Duofold Limited Edition fountain pen, in Mandarin Yellow, 4081/10000 stamped to the barrel and on the cap crest, with three bands to the cap, estimate £200-300
A Parker Duofold fountain pen limited edition gold overlaid, with 1.5ct amethyst in the cap with 18Kt nib, marked with the royal oath, to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee, estimate £500-800
Entries are now invited for our 2019 fountain pen auctions, which are provisionally scheduled for 25th March and 30th September. Collections are welcome for submission at any point in the year and will be incorporated into one of our two-day auctions held on the opening Monday and Tuesday of each month.
